Damiere Byrd Gets Look'd!

ProSportsLook just had the pleasure of giving Damiere Byrd of Timber Creek High School the Pro Sports Look for FCAA Recruiting. He's a 2 sport phenom in football and is also nationally ranked as a sprinter.

Scouts.com Bio:

As a junior, Damiere Byrd caught 38 passes for 605 yards and four touchdowns. He also carried the ball 78 times for 685 yards and eight more scores, adding two punt return touchdowns as well. Byrd was named first-team All-Conference and Group III and second-team All South-Jersey.
He also had 685 yards rushing with eight touchdowns on the ground. Byrd had two scores off punt returns.

Byrd was the state champion in the 55-meter for New Jersey as a junior with a time of 6.39 sec. He may also run track in college. “Most schools are saying I can do both and I’d like to try it,” he said. He runs the 100m (10.5), the 200m (21.7) and the 400m (47.88).

Byrd says he can bench 235-pounds, squat 315 and has a 34-inch vertical jump.

Byrd plans to major in sports medicine and reports a 3.3 GPA and a 1460 three-part SAT.

Byrd: “I’m able to read defenses and I run great routes. I can catch too. I have good speed and a combination of speed and finesse, like Percy Harvin or DeSean Jackson.

“I’m working on getting stronger and being more physical. I want to run my routes better and just improve all-around.”
